01Scope
LumenEdge supplies and configures perimeter detection systems: pulse and tension fence, buried leakage cable, vibration and temperature fibre, laser and infrared barriers, explosion-proof detection and the control layer that connects them. We are responsible for the selection, configuration and documentation of the system.
02Selection logic
Every recommendation starts with the barrier and the ground. A rigid wall can carry a pulse fence; a loose mesh fence needs tension or fibre; a buried route needs leakage cable; an open span needs laser or infrared; a classified area needs Ex-rated devices. The response model then sets the zone size, and the power and network availability set the control architecture.
03Documentation
A perimeter is a long-lived asset. We deliver a configuration record with model numbers, parameter values, zone numbers, cable routes, earth resistance targets and test results. The record is written so that a technician who was not on the original installation can maintain the system without reverse-engineering it.
04Support model
Support covers selection, configuration review, installation questions and fault diagnosis. Site installation is carried out by the project’s own contractor or integrator; we provide the drawings and the commissioning criteria, and we review the as-built record before handover.
